What is ASM?
Attack Surface Management (ASM) is the continuous cybersecurity practice of discovering, monitoring, and managing all digital assets that could be targeted by attackers. Unlike one-time assessments, ASM operates on an ongoing basis, providing organizations with real-time visibility into their entire attack surface.
This includes domains, subdomains, IP addresses, cloud resources, applications, shadow IT, and other exposures. By identifying and monitoring these assets from the attacker’s perspective, ASM enables security teams to prioritize risks, remediate vulnerabilities, and reduce the overall attack surface, strengthening the organization’s resilience against cyber threats
